Joomla – Use CB1.2



Install:

Via the Administration panel using the Extensios->Install/Uninstall selection followed by the specification of the location of the com_comprofiler.zip file on your local hard-driver via the Browse… button and then clicking on the Upload File & Install button.

Add the CB Profile item to the User Menu:

1. Select the New Item button and you will see the Select Menu Item Type panel with a tree structure of items.
2. Choose Community Builder items from the Internal Link tree item 
3. Select the User Profile (mandatory!) item from the expanded list
4. Populate the Name: field with CB Details (or any wording or your choice)
5. Select Public from the drop down list of the Access: field
6. Select the Yes radio button for the value of the Published: field
7. Click on the Save icon

Use CB to replace registration module:

1. Choose Community Builder items from the Components item.
2. Select the Configuration item and you will see CB Configuration Manager panel.
3. Select first line option “Allow User Registration” from the Second label “Registration” ,   choose “yes, independently of global site setting” , then save it.
4. Via “Site->Global Configuration->System->User Settings” from your Joomla 1.5.x Website administration panel,  select the No radio button for the value of the Allow User Registration: field.
